Carbon composites lay-up boosts top speed by maintaining a steady flex and torsion. The new profile, with the draft at 34% of the chord width, improves low-end performance and efficiency in light wind conditions. A slight increase in surface area at the tip helps plane earlier and maintain better control during wave riding.
