KT Apex Carbon Mast

The Apex Mast series completely breaks the mold of conventional mast design to set a newstandard for performance with hydrodynamic efficiency, stiffness, and control. Each model, 77cm, 85 cm, and 95 cm, is a unique discipline specific design, targeting glide, efficiency,maneuverability, and ventilation resistance characteristics on certain sections of the mast ratherthan scaled in length from a single template.Every Apex mast incorporates ultra high modulus carbon, delivering a major leap in stiffnessand responsiveness. The result is a mast that is faster, more agile, and up to 30% less dragthan standard carbon masts.

The Apex uses a forward raked multi airfoil design tuned for submerged efficiency, ventilationresistance, and low surface piercing spray drag. An aggressive taper was developed usingvideo analysis of how different sections of the mast are used across disciplines and conditions,then refined through flex pattern study and airfoil optimization across the size range.

Feeling
Apex feels exceptionally stiff and responsive, with a direct connection to the foil and cleanfeedback under load. The refined airfoil transitions and taper keep the mast feeling efficient andcontrolled through chop and surface contact, while the forward offset baseplate helps the setupfeel more direct and balanced.

85 cmBuilt for wing foiling, wave riding, and freeride control. A straighter midsection and unique topairfoil reduce drag at aggressive lean angles and deliver outstanding ventilation resistance andstability through chop.
95 cmFlagship race mast engineered for maximum top end speed, yaw stability, and ventilationresistance. Features a wider sweet spot than the 85, improving control through larger chop athigh lean angles.
